This biography resource includes two reading passage about the artist Vincent van Gogh, the Post-Impressionist painter. Also included are four student work pages, two dealing with vocabulary and two with reading comprehension.

The two passages cover the life story of van Gogh, with some detail on his artistic accomplishments, but mainly it is a biographical unit on his life from the time of his birth until his death in Teachers might want to accompany the reading with examples of his art work, as these do not translate well in black and white!
