Chioma Jesus, known by her professional name, has her real name as Amaka Okwuoha (nee Ebizie). She is a popular gospel singer and songwriter in the Nigerian gospel music industry.

Chioma was born on February 12, 1972 in Aba, Abia State where she grew up.

She is the first child in a family of seven children. Her parents late, Nze Euzebius Chukwumaeze Ebizie and Lolo Dorathy Ebizie are originally from Ideato Local government area of Imo State.

Growing up was not that easy for Chioma as things eventually got worse when Amaka lost both parents leaving the responsibilities for her to cater for herself and other siblings.
